Flex raiding, because 25 is too many and 10 just isn't enoug

As most of us already know, 5.4 is coming soon, and with it, a new option for raiding. Flex raiding will allow for 8-25 people to raid together, at a slightly lower difficulty than normal raiding. While we have no intention of shifting our focus from 10 man raiding to flex raiding as a permanent replacement, we do intend to utilize flex raiding, on Tuesdays from 7:30-10:30, during the first 3-4 weeks of raiding to both learn the fights, and get slightly better geared.

With that being said, and due to the fact that we can take more than 10 people into flex raiding, Flex raiding will be open to all guild members who are adequately geared to do so. As the current raid leader, I am willing to accept all individuals for flex raiding who have a minimum item level of 505 (unless Blizzard places a higher item level requirement).

While all guild members will be accepted, please remember that there are only 2 positions available for tanks, as with nearly every raid, and there will be limited positions for healers. All parties wishing to heal or tank for flex raiding will be compared by gear level and raid experience to decide who will heal or tank. While I understand you may only be interested in healing or tanking, the fact is having 10 healers and 9 tanks will not work for any raid, and I will choose tanks and healers based on what I believe will be best for the group.

In order to verify item level, I would like all parties interested in attending flex raiding to reply to this post with the name, class, spec and an armory link for all characters wish to bring to flex raiding. In order to prepare for raiding as efficiently as possible, healers or tanks wishing to attend must reply no later than Friday September 6th in order to determine who will be tanking and healing for flex raiding.
